About:

Soul Art Stories

"The creative process, so far as we are able to follow it at all, consists in the unconscious activation of an archetypal image and elaborating and shaping the image into the finished work. By giving it shape, the artist translates it into the language of the present and so makes it possible for us to find our way back to the deepest springs of life."

- Carl Jung

Soul Art Stories incorporates a variety of ways to express
oneself visually.
Scrapbooking is one of the means of visual expression. Through a book format one depict parts of their lives and events.
SoulCollageĀ® is another favorites of Soul Art Stories participants.
We create collage cards, using the method of SoulCollageĀ® as described in Seena B. Frost's published works. Introducing some simple concepts to get one started. A few guidelines are explained. Some sessions have a particular focus. Each session is going to be a different experience as you work with your cards. Part of the group experience that is quiet special is sharing the cards when they are finished.

In addition to scrapbooking and SoulCollageĀ®, Soul Art Stories introduces other fun visual workshops: Personal Plates, Bead Creative, Decorative Boxes, Ornamental Cards, Holidays or other special celebrations.

This is a time for you to set aside for yourself, away from the regular routines of life.

Laurie is a self-care professional; currently, she helps people

care for themselves through her Massage Therapy Practice and the Soul Art Stories workshops. Laurie is a SoulCollageĀ® Facilitator, Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master.

Laurie works with people in a visual format. She believes, the SoulCollageĀ® process utilizes collage making as part of the pallet to express one's self exploration and connections to others and the world. She chooses to incorporate SoulCollageĀ® along with scrapbooking and other types of projects as a means of self-exploration, expression, discovery and self care.

When Laurie first experienced the SoulCollageĀ® process for herself in a workshop, she felt like a duck back in water, even though she had no previous SoulCollageĀ® training. "It was very natural for me. I have always had a love for the arts and psychology. This seemed like an authentic and perfect match for me. One of those aha moments.

Of course the teacher, healer and nurturer in me wanted to share the SoulCollageĀ® process with others, this inspired me to go further and become a SoulCollageĀ® Facilitator."

Laurie has warmth, honesty and genuine compassion for others and the world we live in. She brings her vast experience and shares it in a variety of formats through Soul Art Stories.

Private, Group Workshops, Gatherings and Retreats are offered in a non-judgmental, respectful framework. You do not have to be an artist or creative to participate in the process.

"I welcome you to the opportunity of self discovery and a safe space to explore your own path."
